old seed bio
started in spring of 2003 as a direct reaction to everything else craig bjerring (old seed) was doing. old seed has quickly developed into craig bjerring's main form of musical expression. passionate, charming and honest; old seed has graced stages from winnipeg to nashville to berlin. old seed's songwriting has been compared to hardcore troubadour's neil young, steve earl and bruce springsteen blended with the folk melodies of nick drake and james taylor. modern influences would include will oldham and elliott smith. old seed's stage performance is relaxed and he loves nothing more than verbal jousting with a know-it-all heckler to the delight of all.
